charity returns to Silverstone to raise money for motorbike medics in Africa
To top it off, they are also inviting one lucky person to attend their New Motorcycle Press Launch in Europe next spring. The winner will be one of the first to ride one of Triumph’s new motorcycles in a stunning European location.
Paul Stroud, Triumph CCO said; ‘Triumph Motorcycles are extremely proud to support Two Wheels for Life, and to be participating in the forthcoming Day of Champions auction at the British Grand Prix MotoGP at Silverstone in support of fundraising for crucial causes in Africa.
As the official engine supplier for the Moto2 championship from 2019 season onwards, this important event marks the beginning of an exciting weekend for everyone at Triumph, where for the first time our new Moto2 Triple engine will take to the track at a Grand Prix race weekend in a parade lap on Sunday 26th August.’
Andrea Coleman, co-founder of Two Wheels for Life, said: ‘One of the reasons I started Day of Champions was because I loved the idea of bringing the champions of the sport together with the fans. And the riders love it. They come along out of goodwill, nobody makes them come, they do it because they care about the fans and they care about raising money for our work, bringing vital health care to those who need it.’
